County Axe Terms and Conditions are to be followed by each and every participant before, during and after bookings.
By participating in activities with County Axe, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
- Service Withdrawal: County Axe reserves the right to withdraw any services or cancel bookings at its discretion.
- Payment Methods: All payments must be completed via cash, e-transfer or cheque. No other payment methods will be accepted. Full payment is required at the time of booking request to secure your date and time.
- Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: Deposits are non-refundable unless the booking is canceled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will forfeit the deposit. In the event of a rain delay, County Axe will assist in rescheduling or providing a prorated refund.
- Age Restrictions: Participants must be at least 10 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is required to sign a waiver on their behalf.
- Safety Guidelines: Participants agree to adhere to all safety guidelines provided by County Axe. This includes maintaining appropriate distances from others and following proper throwing techniques.
- Liability Waiver: Every participant is required to complete and sign a liability waiver before engaging in any activities organized by County Axe. By signing this waiver, you release County Axe from any liability in the event of injury.
- Media Consent: By signing the waiver, you grant County Axe permission to capture and use photos and videos of you for promotional purposes.
- Alcohol and Drug Policy: Participants who are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will not be permitted to participate. Any participant exhibiting irresponsible behaviour may be asked to leave at the discretion of County Axe staff.
- Equipment Responsibility: Participants are responsible for any equipment rented during the session and will be held liable for any loss or damage.
- Health Declaration: Participants confirm that they are in good health and do not have any medical conditions that could be adversely affected by axe throwing.
- Medical Emergencies: In the event of any medical emergency, participants should alert staff immediately. County Axe will provide first aid assistance as deemed necessary.
- Participant Etiquette: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Any foul language, disrespect towards staff or other participants, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the activity without refund.
- Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold County Axe harmless from any claims arising from their participation.
- Force Majeure: County Axe will not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or other emergencies.
- Refund Policy: Refund policies apply only to deposits. Full payment refunds are at the discretion of County Axe for cancellations made in line with the cancellation policy.
- Gift Certificates and Promotions: Gift certificates and promotional offers are subject to terms determined by County Axe. Expiration dates and usage restrictions will be communicated upon purchase.
- Amendments to Terms: County Axe reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated on our website.
- Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, and any disputes will be resolved within that jurisdiction.
- Severability: If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
